Internationals round-up: Eriksen's good form continues
Christian Eriksen’s sparkling recent form continued, as he helped Denmark come from behind twice to draw 2-2 with Switzerland.
The 32-year-old has provided three goals and three assists across his last five appearances for Manchester United and was involved in both of the Scandinavians’ efforts in St Gallen.
Remo Freuler lashed home from close range for the Swiss, but Denmark were level within a minute after Eriksen played a quick free-kick over the top for Gustav Isaksen to provide the finish.
Zeki Amdouni’s penalty restored the home side’s lead, just before the break, but Eriksen kept cool in a crowded area to score his 43rd international goal as Denmark claimed a point that keeps them in the second UEFA Nations League Group A4 play-off spot.
Rasmus Hojlund managed 56 minutes for Lars Knudsen’s side, before being replaced by Andreas Skov Olsen.

Elsewhere in the Nations League, Bruno Fernandes completed the full 90 minutes while Diogo Dalot was an unused substitute, as Portugal were held to a goalless draw by Scotland at Hampden Park.
Former Red Scott McTominay was booked for an early challenge on Fernandes, in a game which Portugal dominated but ultimately couldn’t find a way past 41-year-old keeper Craig Gordon.
Roberto Martinez’s men still need just one point from their final two fixtures to join Spain and Germany in the quarter-finals next March.
Lisandro Martinez and Manuel Ugarte were in action later in the evening, over in South America.
Martinez was brought on with 17 minutes to play and had a great view as Lionel Messi completed his 10th Argentina hat-trick, in a 6-0 hammering of Bolivia.
It was a different story for Uruguay, who drew 0-0 at home to Ecuador and have now gone four straight qualifiers without scoring.
Ugarte managed 82 minutes before being withdrawn with an apparent injury as the Celeste still sit a comfortable third in the CONMEBOL round-robin, with Argentina leading the way after 10 games.
