FROM MANCHESTER TO AUSTRALIA

Solskjaer and the squad will board a flight from Manchester Airport to Perth, Australia, on Sunday afternoon to officially begin Tour 2019.

The manager is excited to work with his players for a second full week, after completing a positive first week of hard work at the Aon Training Complex.

“It’s been great coming back," Ole told us last week. "Obviously the boys have worked hard and I think they would feel like it isn’t just over halfway through the first week – I think they will feel like it’s been a couple of weeks because they have grafted and done well.”

With the Premier League season starting on 11 August, Solskjaer knows his team must not waste time.

“We’ve got six weeks until the league starts so we can’t take it easy," he stated. "They've all had their individual programmes and are in good shape from day one, so we’ve put them through their paces."

All six of United’s pre-season games will be shown live on MUTV.
