Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named his starting XI and substitutes, as Manchester United prepare to face Wolves at Molineux in our final Premier League game before the international break.

There’s a debut for centre-back Raphael Varane, two weeks on from the completion of his transfer from Real Madrid, while Jadon Sancho makes his first start for the Reds after substitute appearances against Leeds and Southampton.

Victor Lindelof and Anthony Martial are the players to make way, while Daniel James also comes in for Nemanja Matic.

“Yeah they’re ready,” Ole said of the new boys. “They’ve worked hard. Of course, Raphael’s not had any games or minutes yet.

“Jadon has had a few minutes. He started the game against Burnley behind closed doors. He’s had a few substitute appearances so they should be ready. They’re eager to get going and they’ve deserved their start now.”

Jadon Sancho makes his first United start!

Edinson Cavani, who is yet to feature for United this season, is among the nine substitutes named by Solskjaer for today’s Molineux test.

United: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Maguire (c), Shaw; Fred, Pogba; Sancho, Fernandes, James; Greenwood.

Substitutes: Heaton, Lindelof, Dalot, Mata, Lingard, Matic, van de Beek, Cavani, Martial.

The home side and new coach Bruno Lage are looking for their first points of the new season after narrow defeats to Leicester and Spurs.

They line up as follows:

Wolves: Sa, Semedo, Coady (c), Saiss, Kilman, Marcal, Trincao, Neves, Moutinho, Traore, Jimenez.
