Lammens shirt number confirmed
Senne Lammens will wear the no.31 shirt for Manchester United, after completing his transfer from Royal Antwerp on Monday.
The Belgium youth international has signed a contract that will keep him at Old Trafford until June 2030.
His first interview is available to watch now, exclusively for MUTV subscribers until 20:00 BST on Tuesday, before its wider release.
It’s not certain when we’ll first see Lammens feature for Ruben Amorim’s side, but his jersey number has already been confirmed.

The no.31 has been worn by some big names in the past, including Nemanja Matic, who had it throughout his United career, and Bastian Schweinsteiger.
Marouane Fellaini held it for two seasons, before switching to no.27, while it was the first number that current Under-18s coach Darren Fletcher wore when he was promoted to the senior squad by Sir Alex Ferguson.
Lammens will actually be the fourth different goalkeeper to be assigned the no.31.
Jack Butland succeeded Martin Dubravka in the slot during the 2022/23 season, although he did not actually play for Erik ten Hag’s first team. Dubravka, now of Burnley, was on loan from Newcastle United and did make two appearances in the Carabao Cup.
Two decades earlier, Nick Culkin was sporting no.31 when he made his brief United debut at Arsenal in August 1999.
With Mark Bosnich missing through injury and Raimond van der Gouw stricken late on at Highbury, Academy stopper Culkin was introduced to see out the dying seconds against Arsene Wenger’s side.
Lammens himself has worn the no.91 for previous clubs Antwerp and Club Brugge, and a mixture of no.1 and no.12 for the Belgium youth sides.
