Date set for women's game at Old Trafford

Friday 11 February 2022 15:30

Manchester United Women's historic first match in front of fans at Old Trafford has now been given the confirmed date of Sunday 27 March 2022.

Marc Skinner's side will host Everton in the Women's Super League, with kick-off set for 12:30 BST. It will be the second time that our women's team have played at the Theatre of Dreams, but the first fixture there - an entertaining 2-0 win over West Ham United last season - was staged behind closed doors.

Tickets for the historic Everton match are on sale to all supporters and can be purchased here.

We also now know the game will be shown live in the UK on Sky Sports, after March’s broadcast picks were announced earlier today.
The visit from the Toffees is one of two United matches in the WSL next month that have been selected for television coverage.

Our trip to the Select Car Leasing Stadium to face Reading on Saturday 12 March 2022, kicking off at 11:30 GMT, will also be shown in the UK on Sky Sports.

That meeting with the Royals will be a rematch of this season’s opening fixture, in which United triumphed 2-0 in back in September, courtesy of goals from Kirsty Hanson and Ona Batlle.
