Monday 09 March 2020 17:30

Manchester United’s Emirates FA Cup quarter-final tie against Norwich City will be played on Sunday 22 March at 16:30 GMT, and is set to be broadcast live on BBC One in the UK.

The Reds have reached the sixth round for the sixth year in a row, courtesy of last Thursday's 3-0 victory over Derby County at Pride Park.

As for the Canaries, they made it to the quarter-finals after eliminating Tottenham Hotspur on penalties in the fifth round, and saw off Burnley and Preston North End before that.

See how the Reds beat the Canaries at Carrow Road, with tasty goals from Rashford and Martial...

This year the FA Cup quarter-finals are spread over two days between Saturday and Sunday; the Reds’ participation in the UEFA Europa League means our encounter with the Canaries was always likely to be played on the latter of those days.

United play the second leg against LASK at Old Trafford on Thursday 19 March, and will now have two full days to recuperate ahead of the FA Cup clash.

This season’s quarter-final ties start with Leicester City hosting Chelsea in the Saturday lunch-time game, while Manchester City's clash against Newcastle United is later that day, in the evening.

The following day, Sheffield United lock horns with Arsenal at Bramall Lane, before the Reds' trip to Carrow Road takes place a few hours later.

United will be aiming to complete a hat-trick of wins over Daniel Farke’s men this season after beating them home and away in the Premier League. The Reds won 3-1 on our last visit to Norfolk in October, before defeating last season's Championship winners 4-0 when they travelled to Old Trafford in January.

Carrow Road will be our destination for the second time this season, on 22 March.
