Manchester United's Under-21s will face Crystal Palace in our Premier League 2 quarter-final play-off.

Adam Lawrence's side have been rewarded for our win over Sunderland with a place in the last eight, and will now travel to face the Eagles for a spot in the semi-finals.

The game has been given a date of Monday 4 May, with kick-off scheduled for 18:00 BST, with MUTV set to provide full live coverage.

The VBS Community Stadium, in Gander Green Lane, will provide the venue, home to National League side Sutton United.

Highlights | Our next U18 Premier League assignment saw us face Sunderland, in the glorious north-east sunshine...

Our young Reds finished second in the Premier League 2 regular season table, behind only Chelsea in the standings.

That meant it was Sunderland next up in the last 16, with Chido Obi, Jack Fletcher and Shea Lacey all finding the net in an entertaining 3-2 victory.

Crystal Palace finished 10th in the table after 20 games played and faced Liverpool in their first play-off fixture.

Darren Powell's side beat Liverpool 3-1 on penalties, after the game had finished 2-2, following 120 minutes of action on Merseyside.

Our Under-21s were in action against Crystal Palace, at Salford City’s Peninsula Stadium…

We played Palace earlier this season, running out 4-1 winners at Salford City's Peninsula Stadium.

Jacob Devaney opened the scoring, before goals from Shea Lacey (two) and Gabriele Biancheri completed the convincing success back in September.

We have recently played the Londoners twice at Under-18s level, in the last four of the FA Youth Cup and Premier League Cup final.
