Forward returns from Salford loan
Manchester United can confirm that D’Mani Mellor has returned to the club from his loan spell with Salford City.
The recall clause in the loan agreement has been activated, ending Mellor’s temporary stint at the Peninsula Stadium.
Mellor, 21, is a product of the club’s Academy and has been at United since the age of eight.
The Manchester-born youth product has kept in close contact with the Academy throughout his loan whilst his development has been tracked.
He has benefitted from training and learning within a senior set-up whilst experiencing a new environment over the last five months.
The forward made his United first-team debut in the Europa League clash with Astana in November, 2019 and will now spend time with the Academy before determining the next step in his development at the club.
