Joel and Willock return to the Reds
Two Manchester United players have returned to the fold after loan spells away from the club for the first part of the season.
United can confirm we have activated the recall clause in Joel Pereira's loan agreement with Vitoria Setubal, ending his temporary spell in Portugal.
The talented 22-year-old keeper, who enjoyed a senior Reds debut against Wigan Athletic in 2017, made 10 appearances in all competitions for Vitoria, during a second stint in the Primeira Liga after previously spending time with Belenenses.
Meanwhile, the paperwork has been completed for Matty Willock head back from Scotland after St Mirren activated the termination clause in his loan agreement.
The 22-year-old midfielder, whose brother Joe scored twice for Arsenal in their Emirates FA Cup win at Blackpool last weekend, appeared 14 times for the Buddies after a similar move to St Johnstone in 2018.
