Manchester United will hope to have Luke Shaw back for the journey to Goodison Park, when facing Everton on Sunday.

The England defender has returned to training this week after being out since August due to a muscle problem.

If fit enough to start, the long-serving Red will be a candidate to operate either at left-back or in the middle of the back four.

Lisandro Martinez was spotted watching the session but is still some way off any comeback.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka was part of the group working at Carrington on Wednesday morning, after being ruled out of the win over Luton Town due to illness.

Jonny Evans, Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund all withdrew from international duty due to injury, while Andre Onana missed Cameroon's second World Cup qualifier, against Libya, after being forced off in the 3-0 win over Mauritius.

Facundo Pellistri was substituted after falling awkwardly during Uruguay's 3-0 triumph against Bolivia.

Casemiro is definitely still sidelined but Amad has been making some positive steps in his recovery.
