Manchester United sign Ellen Wangerheim
Manchester United are delighted to announce the signing of Sweden international Ellen Wangerheim on a three-year deal, which sees her at the club until June 2029.
The forward joins United from Hammarby IF, having made over 100 appearances, winning the OBOS Damallsvenskan title and Swedish Cup in 2023. Fans will recognise Wangerheim from our Champions League game against them in August, which we won 1-0 in Stockholm.
On the international stage, Wangerheim made her debut for the senior Sweden squad in April 2024, in a 1-1 draw with England at Wembley Stadium — a game which saw new team-mate Fridolina Rolfo get the goal for Sweden.
