FA Cup third-round tie details
Details of our Emirates FA Cup third-round tie against Arsenal have been confirmed.
Ruben Amorim's first game in the competition will be at the Emirates Stadium, after we were paired with the Gunners in Monday's draw at Old Trafford, conducted by former Reds Mark Hughes and Dion Dublin.
The tie, which must be played to a conclusion with no replay, is being held on Sunday 12 January, with a 15:00 GMT kick-off.
BBC One has secured the live broadcasting rights for the match, which is a repeat of the finals in the competition in 1979 and 2005.
Obviously, our last meeting with the Gunners came in the Premier League Wednesday, with Mikel Arteta's team running out 2-0 victors at the Emirates Stadium.
In total, the clubs have played each other 16 times in the FA Cup, with United winning half of these games, including three of the last four occasions.
There have been famous semi-final victories in 1983, 1999 and 2004, all at Villa Park, with the Reds going on to lift the trophy in those years.
Our last game in the competition against the north Londoners was the 3-1 away win in January 2019.
