How Ten Hag's Reds were inspired by a young fan
Erik ten Hag and his Manchester United players were recently honoured to meet an inspiring young supporter named Adam Boyce, following the pre-season friendly in Dublin.
The seven-year-old Red attended the match against Athletic Club at Aviva Stadium with his mum, Danielle, who organised a special day out for her son.
Adam has cerebral palsy and previously attended a game at Old Trafford - the memorable Europa League win over Barcelona.
But his upcoming plans have been put on hold, because the passionate Red is preparing for surgeries that will unfortunately leave him temporarily bed bound.
Nice to meet you, Adam

Proud mum Danielle was determined to give her son a matchday experience to remember and, ahead of the game, she enquired about a possible meet-and-greet.
After the competitive 1-1 draw with Athletic Club, Erik and the players were humbled to spend time with Adam, pose for pictures and sign shirts.
Adam's hero Marcus Rashford was unfortunately not in Dublin after starting against RC Lens the day before, but Jadon Sancho was happy to take receipt of a letter that he has given to the no.10.
Everybody was inspired by Adam's story and the ongoing courage that he is showing. Take a look at the images in the gallery above.
Reflecting on the experience, Adam told us: “It is hard to find the words to describe, but it was the best experience ever.
“I can’t believe it actually happened to me. It was like a dream come true and everyone so was nice to me. Best of luck to everyone this season, both the players and all of the staff.”
Adam's mum Danielle also explained her courageous son was lifted by the meeting.
“It was a trip of dreams for Adam. He works so hard on a daily basis, battling the effects of his Cerebral Palsy between intense physio and his upcoming surgery. This will give him the inspiration to keep going and watching his Red Devils will give him a weekly boost.”
Everyone at United wishes Adam well and we look forward to seeing him back at Old Trafford in the future.
