Ten Hag and Rashford up for Premier League awards
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag and forward Marcus Rashford have been nominated for the Premier League’s Manager and Player of the Month awards for February.
The Reds went unbeaten during the month in all competitions – although only league fixtures count towards these particular prizes – winning three and drawing one of the four Premier League matches we played.
Home triumphs over Crystal Palace and Leicester City, an away win over Leeds United and a draw against the Yorkshire side at Old Trafford mean United picked up 10 points from a possible 12 to sit third in the league table after 24 matches.
All five Rashford league goals in February
Marcus netted five times across four games against Crystal Palace (H), Leeds (H), Leeds (A) and Leicester (H)…
The Reds also lifted the Carabao Cup after our 2-0 win over Newcastle at Wembley, ensuring a successful month for Erik, and one that could result in him lifting his second Manager of the Month award of the season – after his September win.
Ten Hag is nominated alongside Spurs’ Antonio Conte and Fulham’s Marco Silva, after both London clubs also impressed in February.

In addition to Erik, United are also represented on the shortlist for the Player of the Month award, by Rashford.
Our no.10 has continued his red-hot form and scored a remarkable five goals in our four Premier League matches across the month.
Marcus notched in each of our fixtures, starting the month by getting on the scoresheet in the win against Palace, before scoring home and away against Leeds – both of which were powerful headers.
