Ten Hag: Hojlund is going to score more goals
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has reiterated his belief and trust in Rasmus Hojlund, after the young striker scored his first Premier League goal on Boxing Day.
A Premier League strike has proved hard to come by while the team has struggled for consistency, but the wait ended on Tuesday night with a dramatic winner against Aston Villa.
Hojlund displayed his natural instincts by converting a technical finish past Emiliano Martinez at the Stretford End and, afterwards, the Denmark international said he was “the happiest man alive”.

Rasmus is now preparing for Saturday’s top-flight match at Nottingham Forest and, in a press conference to preview that occasion, Ten Hag spoke positively about his young striker.
“I have to repeat myself but I trust him, I knew he could [score in the Premier League],” he said.
“His goals in the Champions League and in Denmark showed what he did as a young player in Austria, in Italy and he is a very strong character.
“But, of course, this goal will give him confidence and belief that he is going to score and he is going to score more goals from this point on, I am sure.”
