Ten Hag's team news for Tottenham test

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has provided an update on his squad in advance of Wednesday night's Premier League game with Tottenham at Old Trafford.

The boss spoke to club media ahead of a press conference at Carrington and revealed ex-Spurs midfielder Christian Eriksen could face his former club but Anthony Martial's absence continues.

"Anthony Martial is not available," confirmed the Dutchman. "[With Christian] Eriksen, we have to wait. He was just on the pitch. We have to see how he recovers from that and then we will make a decision tomorrow.”

Martin Dubravka (ineligible) and Scott McTominay (suspension) are expected to return to the fold after missing the 0-0 draw with Newcastle United on Sunday.

"It's good to have Scott back," commented the boss. "We are happy with that."

Marcus Rashford came off the bench against the Magpies, despite feeling "under the weather", in the words of the manager.

Defenders Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire, Brandon Williams and Axel Tuanzebe have all been sidelined, along with midfielder Donny van de Beek.

TOTTENHAM'S TEAM NEWS

Richarlison is out with a calf injury and Dejan Kulusevski appears to be a major doubt for the 20:15 BST kick-off.

While the Brazilian's problem is not as serious as first feared, he will definitely be unavailable. Manager Antonio Conte told SPURSPLAY: "Deki [Kulusevski] is another player who needs a bit of time to recover. The medical department are working in a strong way to give me the possibility to have an important player in my choice, but we have to wait."

Lucas Moura is available but fellow Brazilian Emerson Royal is out through suspension.

"It's a problem for me," admitted Conte. "A problem for the club, to play so many games in such a short time. It's very, very difficult because you don't give the possibility for the players to recover."
