Ten Hag names team for Copenhagen

Erik ten Hag has made two changes to his Manchester United team for the visit of FC Copenhagen in the UEFA Champions League.

The Group A encounter will be a poignant occasion as the club pays tribute to Sir Bobby Charlton, someone who will always be synonymous with United, following the sad news of his passing away at the weekend.

The Reds need three points after losing to Bayern Munich and Galatasaray in our opening two fixtures in the competition.

Fit-again Sergio Reguilon and Raphael Varane are drafted into the defence, alongside Diogo Dalot and Harry Maguire.

The rest of the line-up is the same that saw off Sheffield United 2-1 on Saturday night, with opening scorer Scott McTominay keeping his place as he looks to continue his good run in front of goal.

Ten Hag has named 10 players on the bench, with Dan Gore and Kobbie Mainoo playing earlier in the day, in the UEFA Youth League defeat to the same opponents.

Rasmus Hojlund leads the line against his former club, as he bids to add to his tally of three goals in two Champions League games for his new club.

United: Onana; Dalot, Varane, Maguire, Reguilon; Amrabat, McTominay; Antony, Fernandes (c), Rashford; Hojlund.

Substitutes: Bayindir, Heaton, Evans, Lindelof, Eriksen, Hannibal, Mount, Pellistri, Garnacho, Martial.
