Erik ten Hag has urged his youthful Manchester United XI to learn from a difficult outing against Wrexham in California.

It was the first defeat of our pre-season thus far, with United fielding an entirely fledgling line-up barring the inclusion of the experienced Jonny Evans.

Elliot Lee and Aaron Hayden fired the League Two side ahead in the first half, before Marc Jurado halved the deficit just before the interval.

An early red card in the second 45 - shown to Dan Gore - was tough on our young Reds, with Sam Dalby then adding a third for the away side 20 minutes from the end. But regardless of the result, it was a valuable experience that Ten Hag wants United's youngsters to take the lessons from.
