Ten Hag selects United team to face West Ham
Manchester United’s XI to face West Ham United at the London Stadium has been released – and there are three changes to the line-up which drew 1-1 with Fenerbahce in Istanbul less than 72 hours ago.
Bruno Fernandes was suspended for the Europa League tie but is able to return to the side today and take back the captain’s armband, worn in Turkey by Lisandro Martinez.
Casemiro comes into the team, as does Rasmus Hojlund – both men were introduced as second-half substitutes against Jose Mourinho’s side.
Victor Lindelof drops to the bench, alongside Manuel Ugarte and Joshua Zirkzee, and Jonny Evans is able to be named as one of the nine replacement players, after missing Thursday’s continental clash.
Jack Fletcher appeared in a matchday squad for the first time last Saturday, for our 2-1 home win over Brentford, and he has been drafted in as a substitute.
Antony, who suffered an ankle injury against Fenerbahce, Tom Heaton and Habeeb Ogunneye are the players from last time out not included in today’s squad.
It looks as though Noussair Mazraoui will revert to his usual position as a full-back, following his exploits as a no.10 at the Ulker Stadium.
Alejandro Garnacho is making his 100th senior appearance for the Reds, in the capital.
