Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has given his reaction to the news that Phil Jones will depart the club at the end of the current season.

The 31-year-old defender, who was signed from Blackburn Rovers back in 2011, made 229 appearances for the Reds but has struggled with injury problems during his last few seasons at Old Trafford.

As Jones prepares for his next move, the manager has been speaking warmly about him and offering praise for the successes he achieved during his 12-year association with the club.
