Manchester United are still awaiting more details on the knee injury suffered by midfielder Donny van de Beek.

Erik ten Hag was asked by MUTV's Mark Sullivan for a fresh update on the midfielder, who was withdrawn in the closing seconds of the first half during the 3-0 victory over Bournemouth in the Premier League on Tuesday night.

Van de Beek, who was handed a start in the middle of the park against the Cherries, was hurt by a challenge from Marcos Senesi, with the Argentinian defender slipping on the wet surface and colliding with the 25-year-old.

The boss provides the latest on Anthony Martial in advance of the Toffees test.

"Not yet," the boss replied to club media, when asked if we knew how serious the problem is. "We are still doing investigations.

"Once we have it, once we finalise this process, we will bring an update."

However, it seems certain that the Dutchman will obviously miss out on a reunion with Everton, where he spent time on loan last season, in Friday's Emirates FA Cup third-round encounter at Old Trafford.

Donny has featured in each of the three Premier League fixtures since the domestic restart and we will provide more details on the injury, when available.
