Ronaldo exclusive: I am here to win again

That is what our summer signing from Juventus explains in an unmissable interview with his friend and former team-mate Wes Brown, who famously set him up to score in the 2008 Champions League final.

Filmed earlier this week, Cristiano is noticeably taken aback when walking out of the tunnel, alongside a looming Stretford End and onto the pitch where he spent six formative seasons as a Red. 

As Brown points out, his previous experiences of working with Ronaldo, as well as the Portuguese's recent achievements – finishing as top scorer in Serie A, winning the Euro 2020 Golden Boot and breaking the record for international goals – convince him that our returning no.7 wants to prove himself all over again.

“This is why I am here,” states Ronaldo, with a look of determination.

“I am not here for a vacation. As I told you, before was good, winning important things and I wore the shirt before many years ago, but I am here to win again. 

“I am capable, me and my team-mates. I am ready to go, I am ready to go. It is a good chance for me, for the supporters, for the club, to get one step ahead. 

“I am ready and I think I will be a huge thing in the next three or four years.”
