United's Under-18s celebrate a goal.

FA Youth Cup date for Reds announced

Wednesday 03 March 2021 10:59

Manchester United’s delayed FA Youth Cup campaign will kick off later this month.

The Under-18s’ third-round tie at Salford City was postponed when the tournament was halted due to ongoing concerns around lockdown and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Colin Little and Neil Ryan keep tabs on the youngsters.
However, the competition has been given the green light to resume and our third-round tie at nearby Salford City will be played on Wednesday 10 March.

The cup clash kicks off at 19:00 GMT at the Peninsula Stadium but is obviously being played behind closed doors.

Neil Ryan’s side are looking to set up a fourth-round encounter at home to Liverpool or Sutton United in round four, after the draw was made some time ago.

The boys have a big game to look forward to at the weekend, with a trip to Liverpool in the league on Saturday, kicking off at 11:00 GMT.
