The clash with the young Potters will take place on Wednesday 11 January, with a 19:00 GMT kick-off, at the Bet365 Stadium.

Stoke ran riot late on to beat Blackpool 5-1 last weekend, to seal the chance to meet the holders.

Travis Binnion's boys won the trophy last term, beating Nottingham Forest in the final in front of a bumper crowd at Old Trafford.

The opportunity to play at a senior stadium, with a large attendance expected, is another key step in the youngsters' development, with the team in good form at league level.

Our most recent outing came on Tuesday, a 1-0 win over leaders Sunderland at Carrington, thanks to a Daniel Gore goal.
