The Moment is here! Old Trafford awaits...

HOW DO I GET TO OLD TRAFFORD?

Old Trafford is easy to access with excellent road and public transport routes. You can view maps and directions in our comprehensive Getting Here guide, which contains essential information and links on getting to and from the stadium by car, train, tram, bus or bike.

WHAT TIME DO THE PLAYERS ARRIVE?

This varies from game to game but can be any time up to four hours before kick-off. You are more than welcome to join us by the players’ entrance at the south-west corner of the ground to get up close with the squad and potentially even feature on MUTV’s live arrivals show, broadcast to our fans across the world.

There's always a great vibe outside the players' entrance, as the squad arrive at OT.

WHAT IS THERE TO SEE AROUND THE STADIUM?

Arrived early to greet the players, or just looking for something to do before turnstiles open? There is plenty to see around the exterior of our historic home, that tells the story of what makes us United. Not least, the Munich Tunnel on the south side of the stadium, which commemorates the 1958 Munich Air Disaster with a compelling exhibition.

If history is your thing, visits to the statues of some of our greatest ever players and staff are also a must-do. Sir Matt Busby, Sir Alex Ferguson, Jimmy Murphy and the United Trinity are all symbolised in different locations outside of the ground, as salutes to their significant contributions to the club’s storied past.

Please note that the Old Trafford Museum and Tour is not accessible on home matchdays unless you’ve booked Matchday Hospitality, but it is usually open the day before and after a game, and can be booked online at manutd.com/museum or by calling us on 0161 676 7770.

Jimmy Murphy became the latest United legend to be immortalised with a statue at our home, in May 2023.

WHAT ELSE CAN I DO BEFORE HEADING TO MY SEAT?

Located at the foot of the East Stand, the Old Trafford Megastore is the place to go if you’re looking to get kitted out in United colours or sought a souvenir to mark your first visit.

Meanwhile, if it’s food and drink you are after, there are a variety of choices across the stadium footprint, where vegetarian, vegan and halal options are available.

Our matchday programme, United Review, can also be purchased from official venders around the ground for £4 and is a collectors’ item that contains all of the essential pre-match information on both teams.

The Megastore has everything you need to get kitted out for a matchday supporting the Reds.

WHAT TIME DO TURNSTILES OPEN?

Entry is permitted two hours before kick-off, with stadium maps visible around the ground’s exterior to help you locate your turnstile. Your health and safety and that of others is of paramount importance to us, so we have a list of items that are prohibited inside. Please familiarise yourself with this before your visit.

Your match ticket will be stored in the official Manchester United app – simply open it on your phone, select your ticket and scan the QR code at the turnstile. You will not need internet connection for it to appear, but Old Trafford WiFi is readily available to all supporters.

The players will emerge from the Old Trafford tunnel – positioned between the Stretford End and the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand – roughly five minutes before kick-off, but if you’re in your seat early enough you can watch Bruno Fernandes, Kobbie Mainoo and co go through their final pre-match preparations once warm-ups begin around 45 minutes prior to the first whistle.

There are further food and drink options available in the concourses too, where MUTV’s Matchday Live show featuring exclusive live build-up and half-time analysis is also screened.

Be sure to share your matchday captures with us - you may see them posted on the club's social media channels!

WHAT CAN I DO AFTER THE GAME?

You are welcome to head to the players’ entrance after exiting the stadium, if you wish to catch the teams leaving the ground following the game.

The Old Trafford Megastore will be open for one hour post-match, while food and drink kiosks around the exterior will also serve for a limited time, should you require any refreshments.
