Manchester United Women can confirm that defender Hannah Blundell has signed a contract extension with the club.

The versatile full-back joined United in 2021 and was a key part of the team’s record-breaking 2022/23 season, in which we finished second in the Barclays Women's Super League, secured Champions League qualification for the first time and reached a maiden FA Cup final.

Hannah has made 81 appearances to date, scoring three goals, and was named Players' Player of the Year for 2022/23 by her fellow team-mates.
Upon signing the contract, the 29-year-old said:

“I feel very at home here at Manchester United and am excited to extend my time in red. I look forward to making many more winning memories with this team, in front of our great fans.”
“Hannah is a model professional who consistently delivers for the team,” praised manager Marc Skinner.

“Her continued qualities on and off the field are fully deserving of this new contract. We are delighted to see Hannah commit her future to Manchester United, and more winning moments together.”
