Hannibal has learned a lot in Premier League 2 and could now be ready to take another huge step up in his promising career.

"I think my stats are better," he told us this week. "So it is always good to have good stats. I think I am stronger and this is always helpful when you have to keep the ball and everything.

“It is important to be stronger and I've learned a lot about this and how to protect the ball.

"I was more consistent in the games and I had more goals and assists than the season before," he added. "It's always good to take that step, so it was good.”

The playmaker contributed nine assists for the Under-23s and scored four times and he will be hoping to join starters Amad and Anthony Elanga in getting some minutes on the pitch at Molineux as the Reds look to go the whole Premier League season on the road unbeaten.

Fellow award winner Shola Shoretire, who was named the Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year, is also on the bench, along with homegrown centre-back Will Fish.
