Manchester United youngster Hannibal has opted to play international football for Tunisia.

The 18-year-old won the Denzil Haroun Under-23s Player of the Year award for his performances in Neil Wood's side, and made his senior debut, as a substitute, on the final day of the Premier League season at Wolves.

Although he was born in Ivry-sur-Seine in France and attended Clairefontaine, the teenager's parents are both from Tunisia and he has regularly spent time in the African country throughout his life.

His last appearance for France came at Under-17s level in 2019.

So, following his decision to commit to Tunisia, he has been called into the squad for the upcoming games against DR Congo, Algeria and Mali next month.

Coach Mondher Kebaier has named a 29-man group for the games.
