Maguire and Martinez return to team training
Manchester United defenders Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez have returned to team training, as the Reds prepare for Thursday’s UEFA Europa League clash with Bodo/Glimt.
It is a welcome boost for new head coach Ruben Amorim, with both players seen on the Carrington pitches with their team-mates during the first part of Wednesday morning’s session in front of the assembled media.
It remains to be seen whether Maguire and Martinez, who have recently been sidelined with injury, will be fit to feature in Thursday’s European clash at Old Trafford, but their return is a positive nonetheless as we await a further update on their availability.

Luke Shaw and Mason Mount were also present at Wednesday’s session, having both returned to action from injury as substitutes at the weekend.
Kobbie Mainoo and Tyrell Malacia took part too, as they work towards being back on the pitch after their inclusions in the matchday squad at Ipswich.
Jonny Evans, Victor Lindelof and Leny Yoro were not spotted on the grass during the section that was open to the media.
