Reds duo named in England squad
Manchester United pair Harry Maguire and Marcus Rashford have been selected in the England squad for the upcoming international fixtures.
Gareth Southgate's side are due to take on Australia and Italy later this month, with the Reds duo keeping their places, following the games against Ukraine and Scotland.
The match with the Socceroos is a friendly on Friday 13 October, kicking off at 19:45 BST.
There is then a high-profile competitive clash with Italy as the qualification process for Euro 2024 continues. The Three Lions are top of Group C, six points clear of the second-placed Azzurri, ahead of the 19:45 BST start on Tuesday 17 October.
Maguire and Rashford both featured in the final of the last European Championship, at Wembley, in 2021.
Luke Shaw scored the opener in that game but is still injured at present and unable to add to his 31 caps for his country.
Rashford, meanwhile, scored on his senior England debut against Australia, in a friendly at Sunderland's Stadium of Light in 2016, becoming the youngest Englishman to score on his international bow with the early strike.
