Manchester United defender Harvey Neville has completed a move to the United States.

The right-back is the son of former Reds star Phil, who is currently the head coach of Inter Miami.

A deal has been struck to send the 18-year-old to USL League One side Fort Lauderdale, who play in the third tier of American soccer and act as the Reserves team for Inter Miami.

Harvey moved up from United's Under-18s to link up with Neil Wood's Under-23s team in Premier League 2 and grew in stature as the season wore on.

He provided a couple of quality assists and scored his only goal of the season in the 3-0 victory over Arsenal on 12 February.

Everybody at the club would like to wish Harvey every success in his future career, as we look forward to monitoring his progress in the States.

Neville's former team-mates in the Under-23s will finish the campaign on Monday night, with a home game against Derby County. Kick-off is scheduled for 19:00 BST and the full game will be shown live on MUTV.
