Our beloved Old Trafford: Here We Belong
You can relax now, Reds, because the long wait is almost over.
Saturday’s will be the biggest crowd at our beloved Theatre of Dreams since March 2020 and, in this post-pandemic world, we’re buzzing with excitement to experience that matchday feeling again.
It is not hyperbole to state this is one of the most anticipated fixtures in years.
Here, we belong.
That is why the East Stand forecourt has been decorated with a new banner that was proudly installed this week, with our players standing beside that message.
United is a family club and everybody of a Red persuasion is welcome at Old Trafford.
As club reporter Joe Ganley wrote so eloquently in his preview: “It’s our ritual. Our release valve. Our second home. The place where we switch off, but where we’re never more alive. The place where we can forget ourselves and become part of something else, something bigger, something more universal.
“And if you can’t be there, fear not. You’ll see us and hear us, loud and clear on your television screens. And if we’re lucky enough to take the lead against Leeds at any point, you’ll hear a noise from M16 that you’ll probably never forget – even if you’re watching from Tucson or Tangier.”
