The Reds took the lead from the penalty spot, as Bruno Fernandes was brought down by Ben Foster after making a darting run into the penalty area. The Portuguese then stepped up to score and open his account for the club.

Anthony Martial doubled our lead after the interval with a sumptuous chip over the Watford keeper, before Mason Greenwood capped off a great afternoon with a thunderous strike to make it 3-0.
