Manchester United drew 2-2 with Sevilla in our Europa League quarter-final first-leg tie at Old Trafford earlier this evening.

Marcel Sabitzer's early brace at the Theatre of Dreams was cancelled out as both Tyrell Malacia and Harry Maguire put through their own net to hand Sevilla a lifeline in the tie, with the second leg set to take place at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium in a week's time.

Meanwhile, there were three other matches taking places across the continent, with eight teams still hopeful of lifting the trophy come May in Budapest.

The Europa League quarter-final and semi-final draws have been made in Switzerland.

FEYENOORD 1 ROMA 0

Eredivisie leaders Feyenoord will take a one-goal lead to Rome following their success at De Kuip in this evening's early kick-off, as Mats Wieffer's second-half strike proved to be the difference between the two sides, in a repeat of last season's Europa Conference League final. The 23-year-old's sweet half-volley from outside of the area proved pivotal, as the Rotterdam club kept out Mourinho's men, with Lorenzo Pellegrini squandering Roma's best chance of the game in the first-half, as he smashed his penalty against the post in the 43rd minute.

JUVENTUS 1 SPORTING 0

Massimiliano Allegri's Juventus claimed a vital home win over Portuguese outfit Sporting in their quarter-final first leg in Turin, with Federico Gatti netting the only goal of the game. Former United man Angel Di Maria and Italy's Federico Chiesa both went close for the Serie A outfit across the 90 minutes, with their pressure eventually paying off inside the final 20 minutes. The winner of this crucial tie will face United or Sevilla in a two-legged semi-final next month.
BAYER LEVERKUSEN 1 UNION SAINT-GILLOISE 1

Coached by former Liverpool midfielder Xavi Alonso, Bayer Leverkusen will be disappointed to have been held by Belgian outfit Union Saint-Gilloise, after mustering a total of 15 shots at the BayArena. Karel Geraerts' men took the lead in Germany after 51 minutes, when 22-year-old Victor Boniface netted his 20th goal of the season in all competitions. No player has scored more than the Nigerian in the Europa League this term (six). Florian Wirtz was on hand to net a late equaliser for Leverkusen, as their dominance eventually paid off. It sets up another mouthwatering second leg, with the Belgian side looking to cause a further scalp after already knocking out German high-flyers Union Berlin to reach this stage.
