How to pay your respects to Sir Bobby Charlton

Manchester United is paying tribute to club legend Sir Bobby Charlton in a number of ways during the coming week and supporters will have several opportunities to participate.

OLD TRAFFORD BOOK OF CONDOLENCE

A book of condolence is now available to sign in the International Suite at Old Trafford. It will remain open between 10:00 and 22:00 today and on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. A separate plan for signing the book on Tuesday, matchday, will be communicated in due course.

Fans and members of the public wishing to pay their respects at the stadium can park for free in car park E1. The entrance is on Wharfside Way, on the side heading towards Trafford Park from Manchester city centre (see map below).

ONLINE BOOK OF CONDOLENCE

An online book of condolence has been open since the very sad news of Sir Bobby passing away was announced on Saturday afternoon.

FLORAL TRIBUTES AT OLD TRAFFORD

Fans are welcome to place a tribute and reflect by the United Trinity statue on the forecourt at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, free tea and coffee will be provided outside the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand.

Again, free parking for fans wishing to place tributes is available in car park E1 (see map above). 

Fans of all ages began to lay flowers at the foot of the Trinity Statue on Saturday afternoon.
