How can you follow United v Liverpool?

Friday 30 April 2021 13:59

Due to this weekend’s social media boycott, supporters will be unable to follow Manchester United’s game against Liverpool via the club’s official social media channels.

United will join the rest of English football for a social media boycott from today [Friday] at 15:00 BST to 23:59 BST on Monday 3 May, in response to the ongoing and sustained discriminatory abuse received online by players and many others connected to football.

As part of this, we will switch off all of our official Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts across the world, meaning there will be no coverage of Sunday’s meeting at Old Trafford on these club platforms.

Supporters will still be able to follow the 16:30 BST kick-off via our other official avenues, however, which will remain unaffected.

That includes MUTV, which will provide build-up, live radio commentary and full post-match reaction from the encounter.

There will also be rolling updates available at ManUtd.com and on our Official App, where you’ll be able to find team news as we count down to kick-off along with in-game data through our Match Centre across the 90 minutes, before we bring you live reaction following the final whistle.

For fans in the UK, the game will also be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
