How to vote for August's Goal of the Month
The voting for Manchester United’s Goal of the Month award for August is now open.
Supporters can choose their favourite strike from the opening month of the season in the poll below.
Nine goals have been selected in our shortlist, with five scored by our first team during Premier League clashes with Leeds, Southampton and Wolves.
Mason Greenwood found the net in each of those games and all three goals are represented in our poll.
Bruno Fernandes also has more than one effort nominated. Our no.18 struck a hat-trick on the opening day of the season and the first and third – both assisted by Paul Pogba – will provide stiff competition.
Our Under-23s’ campaign is well underway, with Charlie McNeill and Alvaro Fernandez both represented in our countdown.
Finally, Travis Binnion’s Under-18s got their first points of the season with a 3-0 win at Leeds on Saturday and goals scored by Dan Gore and Sam Mather in that game round off our list.
Only goals scored in competitive games are in contention for the award, hence no Bruno free-kick against Everton and a lack of efforts from our Women’s side, who kick off their WSL campaign tonight (Friday).
