TEAM NEWS
Leny Yoro made his first United appearance during last Saturday’s 2-0 win over Rangers, with the Frenchman impressing during his 45 minutes on the Murrayfield pitch.
Andre Onana, Amad and Jadon Sancho also returned from their summer breaks, while there were more valuable minutes for several younger players, as Ten Hag once again rotated his entire outfield line-up at half-time.
Antony, Victor Lindelof and Marcus Rashford missed the Edinburgh outing with small niggles but are part of our 29-man squad in the States, as are Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay who were absent from the trip to the Scottish capital too.
Christian Eriksen, Tom Heaton and Rasmus Hojlund are in contention to make their first appearances of the pre-season campaign against Arsenal, having returned to training and travelled to the US this week, while Tyrell Malacia has remained at Carrington to continue working his way back to full fitness.

THE OPPOSITION
Arsenal were pipped to the Premier League title by Manchester City on the final day, but it was another impressive season from the Gunners, who registered 89 points and also progressed to the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, before being eliminated by Bayern Munich.
Mikel Arteta’s men are yet to significantly add to their first-team squad during this window, although goalkeeper David Raya has made his loan move from Brentford permanent.
The Gunners have named a 26-man squad for their US tour, a list which includes the likes of Martin Odegaard, Leandro Trossard and Ben White.
Raya, Aaron Ramsdale, William Saliba, Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka are notable omissions, due to their involvement in the closing stages of Euro 2024, while Brazilians Gabriel and Gabriel Martinelli will join up with the squad ahead of the game, as will Kai Havertz.
RECENT MEETINGS
Arsenal won both Premier League meetings last season, beating us 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium and 1-0 in the reverse fixture, at Old Trafford, in May.
United did enjoy the better of the pre-season clash with the Gunners last July, as Bruno Fernandes and Jadon Sancho scored to give us a 2-0 victory at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, in the first game of Tour 2023.
THE STADIUM
Opened in 2020, SoFi Stadium is one of only two venues which hosts multiple NFL franchises, as the 2021 champions Los Angeles Rams share the site with the Los Angeles Chargers.
The stadium, which can accommodate 70,000 people, hosted Super Bowl LVI in 2022 and is a key venue for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the 2028 Summer Olympic Games.
