Everton v United Women: TV info, team news & more

Friday 10 October 2025 12:00

Manchester United Women return to Barclays WSL action this weekend, as we gear up for our first visit to Hill Dickinson Stadium to face Everton.

The Reds made an impressive start to our UEFA Women's Champions League league-phase campaign earlier this week, as we beat Valerenga 1-0, thanks to Maya Le Tissier's penalty.

But it's back to domestic action on Sunday on Merseyside, as we take on the Toffees, bidding to extend our impressive opening to the 2025/26 campaign.

TEAM NEWS

Skinner provided an update on Friday regarding his squad's current situation, with Millie Turner, Leah Galton and Celin Bizet Donnum all not involved in midweek.

"It's the first day back in, we gave them the day off yesterday as it was a late-night game," said the United Women boss in his pre-match press conference.

"I believe we're checking in on Celin and that only then leaves Millie. Leah trains today and tomorrow, with a view to being in the squad for Sunday.

"Everybody else came through without any injuries. We're just checking on Celin, Millie is obviously out but everyone else should potentially be available."

WHO SHOULD WE LOOK OUR FOR?

It's just one win and one draw so far for Brian Sorenson's side this season, who currently sit down in ninth position in the WSL table.

An opening-day win against Liverpool promised so much for the Toffees, emerging 4-1 victors in a brilliant display.

But losses against Tottenham, London City, Manchester City (in the League Cup) and Brighton & Hove Albion then followed.

Everton drew 1-1 with Leicester City last time out, with former Barcelona star Ornella Vignola netting their only goal.

Vignola has four for the season so far, leading their goalscoring charts, with three of those coming against Liverpool last month.
