How to watch and follow United v Twente
Another busy midweek schedule sees Manchester United welcome Dutch side FC Twente to Old Trafford for our first Europa League fixture of the new campaign.
It will be the first time the two clubs have met for a competitive fixture, but the visitors will not be unfamiliar to United boss Erik ten Hag, who had three stints with the Eredivisie outfit as a player, from 1989 to 2002, making 257 appearances for the club in total.
There will be no sentimentality from the Dutchman on matchday, however, as he looks to lead his Reds to three points in the new-look Europa League format.

TEAM NEWS
There are positives across the squad for the Reds on the injury front, key among those being the return of Rasmus Hojlund as a substitute against Crystal Palace, picking up his first minutes of the new campaign after suffering an injury on our pre-season tour. His involvement at Selhurst Park suggests he will be available for selection again on Wednesday.
Mason Mount, Tyrell Malacia and Victor Lindelof have all returned to first-team training in varying capacities and Luke Shaw has been progressing towards his return too, so further updates on that quartet could be forthcoming from Ten Hag's press conference before the Europa League match.
This game will come too soon for summer signing Leny Yoro, who continues his recovery from a foot injury sustained on our pre-season tour.
For the visitors, FC Twente are expected to be without midfield duo Michal Sadilek and Younes Taha. Sadilek is yet to appear for them this season, while Taha suffered a broken leg in the early part of the 2024/25 campaign.

OPPOSITION WATCH
Twente gained their Europa League place after failing to advance through the Champions League qualifiers last month, an opportunity they earned via a third-placed finish in the Eredivisie last term.
Their start to the 2024/25 campaign has been more of a mixed bag, picking up two wins, two draws and a loss in their first five league outings.
They have games against the likes of Fenerbahce, Lazio and Nice to follow in the Europa League, but Twente must visit the Theatre of Dreams first.
A NEW FORMAT
The 2024/25 season sees the introduction of a new "Swiss-style" tournament format across the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League, so our first interaction with the system will be in Wednesday's Old Trafford bout against Twente.
All the clubs that have earned a Europa League place go into one 36-team league table, as opposed to separate groups, as it was before. Teams will then play eight fixtures — four at home, four away — against different teams rather than playing the same side both home and away in a group stage.
Participants will then receive the traditional three points for a win and one for a draw to decide their place in the table.
Teams placed first to eighth in the table will automatically advance to the knockout stage, while teams from ninth to 24th will play a two-legged play-off to decide who advances to the next round. Teams placed 25th and below will be eliminated.
Following the group stage, the tournament will then look similar to the more familiar knockout stages of European competitions in previous seasons.
