It is also your first chance to see Erik’s Reds play at Old Trafford of course, and ahead of the game, here's all the key info you need to know...

TEAM NEWS

As the second of two games in two days for United, it is unknown how Ten Hag will choose to line-up for the matches, although it is expected that the majority of the Dutchman’s squad will get minutes across the weekend, including recent signings Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez.

FINAL PREPARATIONS

Sunday’s outing will be our final fixture before next weekend’s Premier League kick-off. The Reds face Brighton & Hove Albion in the first matchweek of the new season, at 14:00 BST on Sunday 7 August.

So far in pre-season, Ten Hag’s side have registered wins over Liverpool, Melbourne Victory and Crystal Palace, while also drawing 2-2 draw with Aston Villa last weekend in Perth. Sunday's home outing is preceded by a trip to Oslo to face Atletico Madrid, as the Reds conclude preparations for the new season.

FAMILIAR FACES

Rayo Vallecano boast two former Reds in their ranks that could feature at Old Trafford on Sunday. Bebe and Radamel Falcao are both set to return to M16 with the Spanish side, managed by former Spain defender Adoni Iraola. Falcao scored four times during his season-long loan with United in 2014/15, while Bebe was a Red between 2010 and 2014, making seven appearances and netting twice.

VALLECANO’S PRE-SEASON SO FAR

The La Liga club have already played two matches in England this summer as they gear up for their campaign in Spain’s top flight. After kicking off their pre-season campaign away to Freiburg (3-0 loss) in Germany, they travelled over to English soil where they defeated Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 and drew 2-2 with Birmingham City. A 2-1 win over fellow Spanish side Leganes back home precedes their trip to Old Trafford, which is their final game before they open the new league term away to Barcelona on Saturday 13 August.
