Saturday 12 October 2024 10:20

Andre Onana was one of four Reds who featured for their respective nations on Friday, as our goalkeeper won 4-1 with Cameroon against Kenya.

Andre played every minute of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, which was held at the Japoma Stadium in Doualla, as goals from Vincent Aboubakar and Martin Hongla put the home side in the driving seat.

Michael Olunga halved the deficit for Kenya after 41 minutes, before Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo restored Cameroon's two-goal lead just before the break.

Christian Bassogog then added a fourth for the Indomitable Lions after half-time, as Cameroon continued their unbeaten record in qualifying for the 2025 tournament.
