Monday 14 February 2022 09:08

Manchester United's Premier League clash with Brighton on Tuesday will not be shown live on TV in the UK.

The Reds take on the Seagulls desperate for three points in a bid to boost our hopes of a top-four finish, in a 20:15 GMT kick-off at Old Trafford.

It is a rearranged fixture after the original match was postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak at Carrington before Christmas.

The 18 December clash, which was due to kick off at 12:30 GMT on BT Sport, needed rearranging, and was inserted into our calendar between the matches with Southampton and Leeds United.

So it now takes place on Tuesday, on a night when BT Sport are screening the Champions League ties between Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid and Manchester City's trip to Sporting in Lisbon. United's round-of-16 first leg in the competition is at Atletico Madrid next week.

The later kick-off time at the Theatre of Dreams is so it does not directly clash with the start of the Champions League matches.

Sky Sports have live Championship football on the menu, with Cardiff City entertaining Coventry City and Sheffield United meeting Hull City.

Fans can still follow the best coverage from Old Trafford via MUTV, the United App and ManUtd.com, as we'll be providing full pre-match and post-match analysis, in addition to live updates on the match.

Ralf Rangnick's side drew 1-1 with Southampton on Saturday, while Brighton won 2-0 at Watford. The Reds now sit fifth in the table after West Ham United secured a late point at Leicester City in a 2-2 draw on Sunday and we need a victory to go above the Hammers.
