Sancho gets to work with United
Excitement levels for the first week of the season have been raised another notch by new signing Jadon Sancho training with Manchester United for the very first time.
The England international, who completed his transfer from Borussia Dortmund on 23 July, has been away on holiday after appearing for the Three Lions in the Euro 2020 final less than a month ago.
He also played against Czech Republic and Ukraine during the competition, at the end of a demanding season in which the 21-year-old featured in 38 games for Dortmund.

Judging by his social media output over the last few weeks, Jadon has been keeping himself in shape and that work is now continuing in the gym at Carrington as you can see in our photo gallery above.
Our new no.25 also posed for a pic with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and did some running out on the pitches with the United coaches.
It remains to be seen whether or not Sancho will be ready to feature for the Reds in our Premier League season opener against Leeds United at Old Trafford on Saturday, with presumably more time needed to assess his fitness.
“Jadon is in for Monday and hopefully then he’s in decent nick and can be involved,” Solskjaer said at Saturday’s post-match press conference.
In a separate interview, conducted with ESPN's Rob Dawson prior to the Everton friendly, Ole said he was optimistic Sancho and fellow summer signing Raphael Varane - who will undergo his medical this week - could take their place as substitutes when Marcelo Bielsa's side come to town.
“I can't see them being available for Everton, but hopefully they will be ready to be on the bench [against Leeds],” Ole told Dawson.
Hopefully we will find out for sure when we speak to the boss later in the week.
