Vote for United Women's Player of the Month

Thursday 30 November 2023 17:00

Which Manchester United Women player should be named Player of the Month for November?

We are asking our fans that very question, after a month that saw the Reds win four of six matches and score 18 goals in all competitions.

The huge 7-0 victory over Everton in the Continental League Cup, followed by the 5-0 triumph over West Ham in the Women's Super League stand out, while 1-0 and 2-0 wins over Liverpool and Bristol City show the resilience of Marc Skinner's side to keep clean sheets.

Of course, we broke our home attendance record at Old Trafford against Manchester City too and despite the disappointing result (a 3-1 defeat), it was an impressive month for United.

Many of our players put in standout performances across the six fixtures but three have been nominated, and you can have your say below.

Who should win Player of the Month for United Women?

NIKITA PARRIS

Nikita netted six times across the month, starting with a sublime hat-trick against her former club Everton on 9 November.

The forward linked up superbly with the likes of Geyse, Ella Toone and Leah Galton - also assisting for the latter - to pull apart the Toffees and followed up her standout performance with a goal in the WSL victory over West Ham just days later.

Parris got the winner in our Conti Cup victory over Liverpool too, and rounded off the month with a well-taken goal at Ashton Gate, as we earned a further three league points against Bristol City.

JAYDE RIVIERE

Stern in defence and offering a threat going forward, November was a standout month for Jayde Riviere, who is really making the right-back spot her own.

Two assists, from pinpoint crosses, helped the Reds race into an early lead against Everton and her stern defending is a key reason why Skinner's side kept four clean sheets across the month.

She missed the first half against City due to a knock, but played the second half and returned to our starting XI to ensure further shutouts against Liverpool and Bristol City.

MILLIE TURNER

Rounding off our shortlist is another defender, Millie Turner.

Another key pillar in the United backline, Turner played in four of the six matches across November, helping to keep two clean sheets.

Her standout moment, however, was at the other end of the pitch, when she marauded forward before curling a sublime effort into the top corner against West Ham.

Turner's form resulted in her receiving a call-up to the England Lionesses squad too, after impressing in both attack and defence.
