Jess Park retains Women's Player of the Month crown

Friday 28 November 2025 16:00

Congratulations to Jess Park, who has been selected by supporters as Manchester United Women's Player of the Month for November.

It's the second month in a row that the summer signing from Manchester City has seen her impressive performances rewarded with the prize, presented by Estee Lauder, having claimed the previous iteration in October.

This time around, the England international received a majority XXX per cent of votes from fans getting involved in the United App and on ManUtd.com.

That was enough to see our no.8 fend off competition from fellow nominees Melvine Malard, Jayde Riviere and Fridolina Rolfo to retain her crown.

Who is your Women's Player of the Month for November?

Park has very much made herself at home on United's right flank since making the move across town in September, and featured in all five of the Reds' matches during November, starting four.

A standout showing in our first game of the month, a 3-2 win away to Brighton in the Barclays Women's Super League, saw the flourishing 24-year-old recognised as both the club's and the WSL's Player of the Match.

The midfielder was excellent on the south coast, powering home her fourth goal in red to make it 2-0 before the hour mark, prior to teeing up Lisa Naalsund's late strike that made it 3-1, and proved crucial to securing maximum points in the end.

Jess also played against Aston Villa, former club City and Wolfsburg in November, the latter as a sub, but really shone at Old Trafford in the UEFA Champions League victory over Paris Saint-Germain.

Her role in the 2-1 triumph's decisive goal, driving the team forward with a silky piece of pass-and-move play, shouldn't be underestimated even if she didn't directly contribute to Fridolina Rolfo's eventual headed finish.

That Rolfo effort came second in the voting for our Goal of the Month, which was won by Malard's Stretford End opener in the same fixture.

It's deserving credit for a goal in which Malard needed to show determination, strength and reading of the game to latch onto Riviere's searching ball down the right flank, before getting goalside of Griedge Mbock and bending a curling attempt just inside Mary Earps's right-hand post.

The strike, in United Women's memorable first European outing at the Theatre of Dreams, gained 34 per cent of fans' votes, to come out on top of the month's seven-goal shortlist. Rolfo's aforementioned winner accumulated 21 per cent, while Elisabeth Terland's goal against Brighton garnered 9 per cent to come third.

Thank you to everyone who got involved with deciding the recipients of both awards.
