Lingard misses training
Jesse Lingard has missed the open training session ahead of Manchester United's Europa League Group L clash with AZ Alkmaar.
The midfielder sustained a knock in the derby victory over Manchester City and was not among the group that worked out on Wednesday morning.
Eric Bailly, Tim Fosu-Mensah and Paul Pogba were also absent.
On the plus side, Marcos Rojo, Diogo Dalot and Nemanja Matic, who looks set to play against AZ, are pushing for a return to action.
If the session was a pointer to the team selection at Old Trafford, it will certainly be a more experienced line-up than the one that featured against Astana in our previous game in the competition.
However, Ethan Laird was also involved, along with his fellow youngsters Matej Kovar, Brandon Williams, Angel Gomes, James Garner, Tahith Chong and Mason Greenwood.
The training group is listed below but this is not the squad for the match itself.
David De Gea, Sergio Romero, Lee Grant, Matej Kovar; Diogo Dalot, Phil Jones, Ethan Laird, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Axel Tuanzebe, Brandon Williams, Ashley Young; Fred, James Garner, Angel Gomes, Daniel James, Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic, Scott McTominay, Andreas Pereira; Tahith Chong, Mason Greenwood, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford.
