Keira Barry and Evie Rabjohn have returned to Manchester United Women after spending the first half of the season on loan with second-tier side Sunderland.

Twenty-year-old forward Barry played 11 games and scored three goals for the Wearsiders, including a brace in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup third round against Derby County.

Keira was also on target away to Sunderland’s North East rivals Newcastle United, in front of nearly 19,000 fans at St James’ Park.

Rabjohn, meanwhile, featured six times as she ticked off her first competitive matches since battling back from the anterior cruciate ligament injury that sidelined her last season.

The defender, also 20 years of age, debuted for Sunderland in a Subway Women’s League Cup tie against our WSL rivals Liverpool.

Both players arrive back at Carrington with more senior experience under their belts.
