Who was United's Man of the Match against Everton?

Manchester United defeated Everton 3-0 at Goodison Park on Sunday, in what could end up being our final visit to the historic ground.

If that proves to be true, then Alejandro Garnacho's stunning bicycle kick ensured we signed off at the stadium in spectacular style.

Garnacho's goal gave United a first-half lead and after Marcus Rashford's second-half penalty and Anthony Martial's cool finish in the closing stages, the Reds took the three points back along the M62 to Manchester.

Following the match, we asked our fans to determine which player impressed most at Goodison Park, by voting in a full-time poll. And despite all of the starting front three finding the net, it was an Academy graduate deployed in midfield who took the spoils.

Kobbie Mainoo was handed his first competitive start in the Reds' senior team and he repaid Erik ten Hag's faith with a dynamic and composed performance.

Displaying calmness and quality in abundance, Kobbie controlled the midfield and was involved at both ends of the pitch.

With the scoreline at 1-0 in the first half, Everton looked certain to level the score when the ball bobbled through past Andre Onana and Harry Maguire, but Mainoo got back and hooked the ball clear off the line.

As a reward for his impressive outing in midfield, Mainoo garnered a huge 47 per cent of our fan vote.

Second to the Academy graduate was another product of our youth system, Garnacho.

Alejandro stunned the stadium into silence with a truly marvellous overhead kick just minutes into the match, and was a constant menace throughout.

He ended the vote with 35 per cent, after another electric outing for the Reds.

An extraordinary goal by Alejandro Garnacho leads to a valuable away win for Erik ten Hag's side.

Bruno Fernandes picked up six per cent in the poll, after providing the assist for Martial's finish, while Andre Onana was backed by five per cent of our voters.

The Cameroonian made a number of important stops as we saw out an important clean sheet.

But, on a landmark day in his promising career, it is Mainoo who was confirmed as our Man of the Match against the Toffees.

Well done, Kobbie!
