How Galton marked 100 United Women appearances
For many, a tattoo is something that marks a particular moment, memory or perhaps even an emotion in someone's life.
For Manchester United Women’s Leah Galton, that has been perfectly represented with her latest ink.
Our influential forward recently made her 100th appearance for as a Red, during the impressive 4-0 win over West Ham at Old Trafford in the WSL.
To celebrate the impressive milestone, Leah met up with the BBC’s Liam Macdevitt and headed to the Innervision Collective tattoo studio in Greater Manchester, and got a fresh piece of ink.
To ensure that her achievement stays with her, Leah had the number ‘100’ tattooed behind her ear, something that will serve as a reminder of her accomplishment for many years to come.

Of course, tattoos are nothing new to Leah, as she explained: “As you can see, I love tattoos! I’m getting more and more covered in them. I think my favourite one is definitely this one on my hand, of my elephant.”
Since making her debut against Liverpool back in 2018, our no.11 is only the fourth United Women player to reach that landmark, joining Ella Toone, Katie Zelem and Millie Turner.
